All Digital Answering System A microchip handles all messages. The operation is virtually silent and recorded messages are easily accessed. You can control the system not only by pressing the base unit’s buttons but from the handset as well.
Big button keypad (KX-TG4011T, 4012S, 4013T, 4014T, 1032S, 1033S) The comfort fit handsets provide a big button keypad for improved accessibility and operation, along with a large easy to read backlit LCD display.
Call block (select models) Use this feature to block unwanted calls. Store the caller ID information of all unwanted callers in your block list to eliminate future pesky calls. Unwanted callers will receive a busy signal.
Call Display & Call Waiting Deluxe1 Compatible The LCD readout can display the name and number of incoming callers, even if you’re on another call.
Chain dial This feature allows you to dial phone numbers in the handset phonebook while you are on a call. This feature can be used, for example, to dial a calling card access number or bank account PIN that you have stored in the handset phonebook, without having to dial manually.
Choice mail (Select models) You can quickly see who left a message on your answering machine and then select and play your answering machine messages in any order.
Colour ID / Ringer ID1, 2 If you subscribe to Call display service, the illuminating colour (red, green, amber) and/or the ringer tone can be set to change according to the caller. The indicator on the handset lights up to tell you that there is an incoming call or voice message. With the colour ID feature (KX-TG8412/KX-TGA840) you can link a colour to your pre-programmed phonebook data and the information will display with the corresponding call.

Navigator Key Gives you easy control of your phone directory, call display memory, and/or volume control.
Night mode (select models) Night mode allows you to select a span of time during which the handset will not ring for outside calls. This feature is useful for when you do not want to be disturbed, for example, while sleeping or during the night when the baby is sleeping. Night mode can be set for each handset.

Voice Mail Service Compatible If you subscribe to your phone company’s voice mail service, an indicator on the LCD will flash when there are new messages in your mailbox.
Intercom mode Two handsets can communicate without the base unit interface inside or outside the home. This mode doesn't interfere with incoming calls.
30 & 50-Station Call Display Memory and Dialer1 Call Display data for up to 50 calls can be stored for recall and direct call back capability.
109-Channel Auto Scanning (select models) Select models help assure quality sound and reception by automatically searching 109 channels and chooses the clearest one.
